In 2002, the colour Cosmic Latte was used to describe the average colour of the universe. It is a beige colour. The explanation of how scientist arrived to this name and colour is explained here:

Just to note, a contest was held to name the new colour of the universe as scientest once thought the universe colour was cosmic turquoise. Some proposed possibilities instead of Cosmic Latte, which I personally liked, were:
